Dr Kelly - the U.N - Baha'i - New age Bullshit - New World Order

The role of Mai Pederson, a US military linguist, in bringing Dr Kelly to the Baha'i faith was highlighted by Mrs Marilyn VonBerg, who was secretary of the local Baha'i assembly in Monterey, California, when Dr Kelly converted there in 1999.

Is this 'Californian sect' of Baha'i a specific cultic steering operation? Or is all Baha'i riddled with the same mechanism we see in the development of other Political Religious offshoots, such as the Process Church, Heavens Gate & The Muslim brotherhood?

behold the new JESUS! [er...apparently]

Dr. Leland Jensen fulfills prophesies from all the world's major religions.
He is the Establisher of the Baha'i Faith and the Seventh Angel from the Book of Revelation and Some Answered Questions.
For Native Americans, he is the long awaited Bahana.
For Jews, he is Ha Eretz; prophesied of by Zechariah and Kabbalah.
For Hindu's, he is the 10th Avatar named "Kalki".
For Zoroastrians, he is Saoshyant.
For Buddhists he is the bodhisattva, Maitreya.
For Christians, he is the return of Jesus the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.
He is a Knight of Baha'u'llah. Furthermore, he is the Lamb, the Knight on the white horse, Quetzacoatl, and 'Blessed is He' from Daniel chapter 12. - source

see Leland Jensens failed prophesy: THERE'S NO GETTIN' AROUND IT!! THE U.S. NUKES IRAQ!

...on a brisk April 29 morning in 1980, Dr. Leland Jensen, a chiropractor and leader of a small religious sect called the Baha'i Under the Provisions of the Covenant, led his devoted followers into fallout shelters in Missoula, Montana, to await the end of the world. Within the first hour, Jensen believed, a full third of the Earth's population would be annihilated in a nuclear holocaust of fire and fallout. Over the course of the next twenty years most of the remaining population would be ravaged by conquest, war, famine, and pestilence.

Psychologists who studied Leland Jensen and his Baha'i sect ... discovered that when the end of the world came and went, they did not quietly disband and go home. Psychologist Leon Festinger applied his theory of cognitive dissonance to failed prophecy, and argued that the stronger one's commitment to a failing cause, the greater the rationalizations to reduce the dissonance produced by the disappointment.

Thus, paradoxically, after the 1980 debacle in the bomb shelters, not only did Jensen and his followers not abandon the cause, they ratcheted up the intensity of furture predictions, making no less than 20 between 1979 and 1995!

Jensen and his flock applied one or all of the following rationalizations:

(1) the prophecy was fulfilled - spiritually;

(2) the prophecy was fulfilled physically, but not as expected;

(3) miscalculation of the date;

(4) the date was a loose prediction, not a specific prophecy;

(6) God changed his mind in order to be merciful;

(7) predictions were just a test of members' faith. -

according to the letter below, The Iraq war presented itself as an
opportunity for the Baha'i faith to further it's five year plan

Universal House of Justice
Ridvan 2003

To the Baha'i's of the world

Dearly loved Friends,

As the Five Year Plan enters upon its third year, momentum is building: the record of achievement during the year just ended far outdistanced that of the previous twelve months. The thrust of this momentum owes as much to the increased coherence achieved in the Plan's constituent elements as to the animating effect of the spirit of unrest pervading the planet.

The circumstances attending the opening of this new administrative year are at once critical, challenging and extraordinary in their significance. The entire course of the previous year was agitated by a succession of crises that culminated in the outbreak of war in the Middle East. The implications are no less significant for the progress of the community of the Most Great Name than for the evolution of an increasingly global society in the throes of a turbulent transition. Of necessity, the timing, scale and tendencies of this transition have not been predictable. How swift indeed has been the current change in the tide of world conditions! In the resultant conflict, involving so conspicuously the countries in which the earliest history of the Cause took shape, we see a fresh reminder of Baha'u'llah's warning that the "world's equilibrium hath been upset through the vibrating influence of this most great, this new World Order". That the events of this crisis directly affect a territory with as rich a Baha'i legacy as Iraq is particularly noteworthy.

The disruptions caused by this and other situations in the world have, in one instance, suggested the opening of a new chapter in the history of the highly prized but woefully oppressed Baha'i community of a land in which the Manifestation of God for this Day resided for a whole decade. In another, they have dashed the preparations for the Ninth International Convention at the World Centre of our Faith. But, however disappointing, this calls for no dismay. When the Major Plan of God interferes with His Minor Plan, there should be no doubt that in due course a way will providentially be opened to an opportunity of stellar possibilities for advancing the interests of His glorious Cause. - bahai-library.com

Baha'is told not to protest the war?
what kind of religion would see any War
as being in it's interests?

The Baha'i National Spiritual Assembly of the United States issued last fall the directive that bahais not protest the war, and the NSA of the UK issued a similar one. In the context of the Universal House of Justice's Ridvan Address for 2003, celebrating improved conditions for the Baha'is of Iraq, and Kelly's briefing Baha'is

The NSA of the UK below promotes the policy developed by the Universal House of Justice in Haifa, Israel, a policy released subsequent to Dr. Kelly's address to Baha'is in October, 2002, and calculated to ensure that Baha'is do nothing to prevent the war from going forward, a war recognized by Baha'i institutions as in its own best interest:

Doug Martin - Baha'i's MUST NOT be critical of America

Mr. Martin said that we must not be critical of the American government. We must support it. [At the Monday night meeting he said that we should exercise caution against dissent, discord and disagreement.] Mr. Martin made clear that his references to the government is not the same as talking about the "administration" -- i.e., the executive branch of the U.S. Government. He once again referred to Abdu'l-Baha's prayer asking God to: "render this just government victorious." (Baha'i Prayers, p. 23) And he said that America would be victorious and that the form of government is just. (Then he made a joke about the government of Canada being better.)

America's role in the world shaping events is God's plan -- this is what God is doing, not what the Baha'is are doing. He said that the United Nations was not in the condition to fulfill some of Baha'u'llah's injunctions at present, and that the United States would have a leadership role in bringing about the changes that lead up to the Lesser peace, and that this was prophesied by both the Guardian and Abdu'l-Baha. We do not have to advocate or criticize what the U.S. Government is doing in specific instances, but we can rest assured that it will be guided to fulfill its own purpose and destiny -- through which it will itself become transformed.

[I remembered the words of Shoghi Effendi written in 1938:

"Then, and only then, will the American nation, molded and purified in the crucible of a common war, inured to its rigors, and disciplined by its lessons, be in a position to raise its voice in the councils of the nations, itself lay the cornerstone of a universal and enduring peace, proclaim the solidarity, the unity, and maturity of mankind, and assist in the establishment of the promised reign of righteousness on earth. Then, and only then, will the American nation, while the community of the American believers within its heart is consummating its divinely appointed mission, be able to fulfill the unspeakably glorious destiny ordained for it by the Almighty, and immortally enshrined in the writings of `Abdu'l-Baha. Then, and only then, will the American nation accomplish 'that which will adorn the pages of history,' 'become the envy of the world and be blest in both the East and the West.'" - Doug Martin, member of the bahai universal house of justice on the United Nations

What kind of religion stand by when this is going down?

Dr Kelly was not just not any Baha'i scientist giving a talk on a dossier just released by the government to the public in September 2002. Dr Kelly happened to be the one scientist who was involved (with other MI6 intelligence officers) in compiling the dossier for the British government.

The very fact he discussed this important dossier with other members of the public, (bahai or non-bahai BBC journalists) disclosing his involvment in the compilation was an extreme breach of secrecy on his behalf.

It is this (so called breach of government secrecy) to 30 Baha'is at an official Bahai meeting in October 2002 that the UK NSA and definitely the UHJ wish to distance themselves from. It was this imperative reason, *to protect the Bahai Faith* Barney leith had to alter Roger Kingdon's account to the Observer newspaper at the Hutton inquiry.

Dr Kelly also knew all the names of the MI6 officers involved in compiling the intelligence september dossier. He was also aware of a number of *classified* drafts (attached to the dossier) which were not released to the public until the Hutton inquiry began. It was because of these *SERIOUS* reasons Dr kelly used equivocal language with intent to cover up (he had discussed his involvement in the dossier with Andrew Gilligan) at the Government select committee. The secretary of the UK NSA did likewise at the Hutton inquiry, to cover up Dr Kelly had discussed the dossier at the bahai meeting in Roger Kingdon's house back in October 2002 - Errol on Usenet

The Baha'is Under the Provisions of the Covenant

following taken from 'Over The wall' -

THE MEANING OF THE ANTICHRIST

To begin with, the "Beast" doesn't pertain to Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece, or Rome as the Christians believe, for everything in the book of Revelation are prophecies for the things to come after 96 A.D. when John wrote this book while he was on the Island of Patmos: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John (Revelation 1:1).

The above quote tell us that God gave Jesus this Revelation that was to take place in the future and Jesus sent this by an angelafter he had ascendedto John. Also in chapter four this is said a little differently: After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be here-after (Revelation 4:1).

What is said here is that there was a door opened in heaven, that is, that the veil or curtain was pulled back so John could see what was in the plan of God, behind the veil, from the beginning of the Adamic cycle; and these things were to come after John saw them. So this prophecy had nothing at all to do with Babylon, Media/Persian, Greece, or Rome. So Hal Lindsey and Christian interpretations are all wrong. One of the things that John saw was a Beast that: ...was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the Dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Revelation 13:2).

Daniel saw the same beast that is in Revelation 13 but as four seperate beasts, with the lion having eagle's wings: Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings; I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted from the earth and made stand upon the feet, as a man, and, and a man's heart was given it. And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it was raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, and devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it (Daniel 7:2-6).

These four beasts have nothing to do with anything that took place before 96 A.D. These beasts are symbols of several nations: the lion is the symbol of England. In 1976 with the Declaration of Independence the eagle's wings were plucked off of the lion, and the 13 colonies of England became the United States of America. The symbol of the United States is the eagle (see the back of the dollar bill). The second beast, the bear, becomes the third beast, which is the symbol of Russia. The fourth beast, the leopard is a contraction of two beasts, the leo and the pard. The symbol of France was, at one time, the pard (the French word for panther). When the French King, Charlemagne, conquered the Saxons, who had the leo (the Greek word for lion) as their symbol, the leo and the pard became united to form the body of the Holy Roman Empire. It was called the leo pard, or leopard.

These four countries, when they became united as charter members of the United Nations, became the Beast of Revelation chapter 13. Being Christian nations they are in opposition, or are against, Jesus being the Christ (his genealogy through Joseph back to King David), and thus they are the Antichrist.

- Baha'i Montana

anti-Jewish polemics by Christians began in the Patristic period (end of first century through the eighth). Here you mainly find the argument that the Church has replaced Israel and the Jews as God's people:

"The Jews, because of their stiff-necked rejection of the Christ, have in turn been rejected by God. The mantle has passed from Jew to Christian. Christians are the new 'chosen people.' The Church is the New Israel. "

- Persecution of the Jews in Europe

so let's just get this straight: Baha'i teachings see the anti-christ as the members of the United Nations...
those nations which have declared Christ is in their church

Lion with Eagles wings - England and USA = 2 beasts
Russia = Bear
Saxony = Leo
France = Pard

er...Didn't Dr Kelly used to work for the UN? [The beast]

On 18 April 1991, after Iraq had formally accepted the provisions of resolution 687, the Secretary-General submitted to the Security Council his report regarding the establishment of the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM). Following acceptance by the Security Council of the report on 19 April, the Secretary-General appointed Ambassador Rolf Ekéus (Sweden) as the Executive Chairman of the Special Commission. On 1 May 1991, the Secretary-General appointed 20 other members of the Commission, from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, the United States and Venezuela.

Mr. Richard Butler (Australia) replaced Ambassador Rolf Ekéus as the Executive Chairman on 1 July 1997. Mr. Butler completed his two-year tenure as Executive Chairman on 30 June 1999. A successor was not appointed. The Deputy Executive Chairman, Mr. Charles Duelfer (United States), was officer-in-charge from 1 July 1999, to 17 December 1999, at which time UNSCOM was replaced by the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) through the adoption of resolution 1284 (1999) of 17 December 1999.

Full sessions of the members of the Commission have been held approximately twice yearly in New York to discuss policy issues and to assess the results of operations to date. The last meeting of the Commissioners was held in October 1998. UNSCOM

IRAQ: THE UNSCOM EXPERIENCE

The United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) was created through the adoption of Security Council resolution 1284 of 17 December 1999. UNMOVIC replaced the former UN Special Commission (UNSCOM) and continues with the mandate to verify Iraq's compliance with its obligation to be rid of its weapons of mass destruction (chemical, biological weapons and missiles with a range of more than 150 km), and to operate a system of ongoing monitoring and verification to ascertain that Iraq does not reacquire the same weapons prohibited to it by the Security Council.

UNMOVIC

Had Kelly decided to work for or against 'The New Jeruselum' of the 'coalition?

It has been suggested that Dr Kelly was passed over for promotion as head of UNSCOM, and instead Richard Spertzel was appointed

"Although he mixed with diplomats, Kelly was not one of them. He found their world shallow. In the corridors of the UN, the talk was about who was up, who was down. It turned out that he was not as up as he had hoped. In late 1994 the UN appointed Richard Spertzel, a US biologist, as head of its bio-weapons investigation in Iraq a role Kelly almost certainly would have liked. Kelly remained an adviser but one step removed from the centre of power. " - source

Was Dr Kellys' work with Operation Rockingham
& with The US/UK's goal of a war in Iraq
linked with Baha'i use of this situation?

Operation Rockingham

After he became a weapons inspector in Iraq in 1994, In London, Kelly became a key figure in an MoD unit called Operation Rockingham. Set up by John Morrison, deputy head of the DIS, its aim was to gather intelligence on Iraq from a multitude of sources and try to make sense of it. Sitting at the centre of a complex web of British and US intelligence organisations, the Rockingham cell became pivotal in the efforts to disarm Iraq.

It guided inspection teams in Iraq to sites suspected of being used to hide weapons. It also advised the joint intelligence committee (JIC) that, in turn, reported to ministers.

Rufford cites the damaging criticisms of the Rockingham cell and of Kelly made by Scott Ritter, a former UN inspector who liaised with the cell.

Essentially he asserts that its members wrote reports for the UN Security Council and were able to influence decisions on whether sanctions against Iraq continued. To this end, Intelligence was selected or ignored depending on whether it supported the foreign policy of Britain and America, says Ritter, and Kelly was a key figure in that process.

Ritter states, Kelly became Rockinghams go-to person for translating the data that came out of Unscom into concise reporting...Kelly had a vested interest in protecting his image, which centred around his exposure of an Iraqi bio-weapons programme that had to continue to exist for him to continue to hold centre stage.

Kellys role as a spy and what Ritter alleges were efforts to exaggerate the threat from Iraq do not contradict the fact that he later fell into a conflict with his employers and the government. Pederson notes, for example, that he was passed over by the UN as head of the bio-weapons investigation in Iraq in favour of Richard Spertzel, a US biologist. And in 1998, he was kicked out of Iraq and found himself officially occupying a much more junior position within the MoD fearing for his pension and facing public embarrassment as a result of the weakness of the security material on Iraq on which his own reputation rested.

Britain: More questions on Dr Kellys death as a confidante rejects suicide claim

Revealed: how MI6 sold the Iraq war

Operation Mass Appeal

The British MI6 establishes Operation Mass Appeal, a British intelligence mission "designed to exaggerate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction" in order to shape public opinion. The operation plants stories in the US, British, and foreign media from the 1990s through 2003. Intelligence used by Mass Appeal is said to be "single source data of dubious quality."

After the First Gulf War, the operation seeks to justify the UN sanctions policy. But after the September 11 attacks, its objective is to secure public support for an invasion of Iraq. The mission is similar to Operation Rockingham, another British intelligence disinformation program. Former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter says in late in 2003 that he supplied Mass Appeal with intelligence while serving as UN chief weapons inspector from the summer of 1997 until August 1998 and that he met with British agents involved in the operation several times in both New York and London. - see Revealed: how MI6 sold the Iraq war

How much influence do the Baha'i's have on the U.N?

[excerpt from - A New Temple For A New World Religion Opens On Mt. Carmel]

The Baha'i faith was founded in Persia (Iran) in 1844. In addition to holding to Jesus, Buddha, and the other founders of major religions, the Baha'is believe in two additional teachers for the new world religion: the Bab and Baha'u'llah, who point the way to "an ever-advancing civilization." The Bab's main function, according to official teaching, "was to prepare humanity for the imminent appearance of another divine Teacher, who would lead the world to a period of everlasting peace. In 1863, Baha'u'llah appeared, and announced that he was the teacher foretold by Bab.

"The main theme of Baha'u'llah's revelation," according to Baha'i publicity, "is unity. He taught that 'the earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.' His writings contain principles, laws, and institutions for a world civilization, including: abandonment of all prejudice; equality between the sexes; recognition of the common source and essential oneness of the world's great religions; elimination of the extremes of poverty and wealth; universal compulsory education; responsibility of each individual to search independently for truth; establishment of a world federal system based on the principles of collective security; and recognition that religion is in harmony with reason and scientific knowledge.

"Because of its commitment to these ideals, the Baha'i community has been an active supporter of international organizations such as the United Nations. . .

"The Baha'i World Center in the Acra/Haifa area of Israel has been both the spiritual and administrative center of the Baha'i faith since Baha'u'llah was exiled here in 1868."

The new complex, designed by Fariborz Sahba, who also designed New Delhi's famous Lotus Temple, completes the Baha'i World Center: the Shrine of Bab (1909); the golden-domed mausoleum for Bab (1953) the International Archives (1957) and the Seat of Universal Justice (1983). The new administrative buildings are the International Teaching Center and the Center for the Study of Texts.

The Favored Religion

Members of the Baha'i faith are among the most public leaders in the movement to create a new United Nations-approved world government and religion.

Albert Lincoln, secretary general of Baha'i International, for example, spoke at last year's United Nations Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious Leaders, sponsored by CNN's Ted Turner, and articulated the need for a "global community based on unity in diversity."

Members of Baha'i have long been active in the formulation of the UN's "Earth Charter," and, in fact, was promoting the notion before it was embraced by the UN, and was a major player at the 1992 Rio meeting, and in the Rio+5 consultations, along with such other players as Eileen Gannon and Carol Zinn of Global Education Associates; Richard Clugston of the Center for Respect of Life and the Environment; Bawa Jain of the Temple of Understanding; Steven Rockefeller of the Earth Charter Commission; and Brian Swimme - promoter of the New Age "Christ" Matreiya - of the California Institute of Integral Studies.

The Baha'is' Peter Adriance was part of the "values and education" group which formulated the essential elements of the Earth Charter.

In 1995, on the occasion of the UN's 50th anniversary, Baha'i leaders issued a call for a summit on global governance. The 22-page statement of "action items" included: a "fully armed" international force; extending the jurisdiction of the World Court; a commitment to a universal language; a commission to re-examine national borders; and a more positive way to evaluate the United Nations.

"Judged in isolation from the reality within which it operates, the United Nations will always seem inefficient and ineffective. However," the statement declares, "if it is viewed as one element of a larger process of development in systems of international order, the bright light of analysis would shift from the UN's shortcomings and failures to shine on its victories and accomplishments. With an evolutionary mindset, the early experience of the United Nations offers us a rich source of learnings about its future role within the international regime."

Typically, Baha'i leaders are included in any major international gathering of religious figures.

When, for example, World Bank President James Wolfensohn convened an unprecedented meeting with "religious leaders" in London in 1998 to discuss religion and economic development, the Baha'is were there, along with Anglicans, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Jainists, Sikhs, and Taoists.

Kiser Barnes, the lead Baha'i representative, opened the session on "participation," observing that spiritual values are the key to economic development.

The nature of Baha'i'ism ...hollistic? Universalist? New World Order?

NEW WORLD ORDER?

In world politics frequent reference is now made to a New World Order. Baha'ís are among those who very much welcome this development. In the latter half of the nineteenth century, Baha'u'llah, the Founder of the Baha'í Faith, set out a clear framework for a new world order, and communicated this in writing to the rulers of the time. In 1985 the Universal House of Justice, the world body of theBaha'í community, in its statement entitled, "The Promise of World Peace", analysed the current state of the world and restated Baha'u'llah's plan, laying out a possible path towards world peace and world order.

The Warwick Leaflet by Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Warwick

COMMON FATHERLAND?

"One of the great events," affirms &Abdu'l-Baha, "which is to occur in the Day of the manifestation of that incomparable Branch is the hoisting of the Standard of God among all nations. By this is meant that all nations and kindreds will be gathered together under the shadow of this Divine Banner, which is no other than the Lordly Branch itself, and will become a single nation. Religious and sectarian antagonism, the hostility of races and peoples, and differences among nations, will be eliminated.

All men will adhere to one religion, will have one common faith, will be blended into one race and become a single people. All will dwell in one common fatherland, which is the planet itself."

A Brief History of Douglas Martin, Member, BAHA'I Universal House of Justice

He gave a talk in Canada about the faith in which he advocated Israeli control of Jerusalem. Unbeknownst to him, this talk was taped by the conference organizers, who assumed it was his conference paper submission, and they typed it up and printed it in a book published in India. I discovered the book and wrote him a protest that he was involving the faith in politics in a big way. (The status of Jerusalem is still undetermined in international law). He explained that he had not intended for his remarks to be published. I now realize that he must have been petrified that I might use this incident to discredit him, since of course behind the scenes that is the way he himself has behaved throughout his entire Baha'i career. In fact, I let it go. He nursed a grudge against me thereafter. This Jerusalem talk was typical of the kind of fundamentalist "Zionism" he espouses, along with a lot of other wacky ideas like the world changing dramatically in the year 2000. (How will he backpedal about *that*?)

There isn't much difference between his discourse and that of someone like Jerry Falwell. Note that like the rightwing "Christian Zionists," Martin actually does not mean the Jewish people particularly well, since he just wants to convert them to his religion. His "Zionism" is a use of them for his own, fundamentalist and apocalyptic purposes.

Inner turmoil and political games or the Baha'i

It will not be news to anyone reaching this page that there is a great deal of controversy going on now in the Baha'i community. The Baha'i Faith has essentially declared war on its own best and brightest. This is a very bitter battle with a good deal of anger, fear, and hurt feelings to go around.

[snip]

The most insidious charge laid against some of these Baha'i scholars is that they have some kind of "agenda", a political platform to which they want the Baha'i world subjected. Even if that were true, I don't see how a handful of academics would acquire the institutional power to put such a platform into effect. One gets the impression, upon reading the letters put out by the UHJ and NSA, that these people have attempted some kind of coup d'etat instead of simply expressing opinions based upon the academic examination of the Baha'i Faith. These academics, as much as some people may dislike their opinions, are simply one part in the chorus of voices that make up the Baha'i community. Seeking Truth, Seeking Unity

Is the Bahai sect a cult?

The underlying problem is that Baha'is are required to believe the Baha'i administrative order is infallibly guided by God in all its decisions. This means that questioning or ignoring even the smallest statement of a Baha'i institution is tantamount to disobeying God Himself, and can bring accusations of "weakness in the Covenant" which is a harsh spiritual judgment and veiled threat of discipline. Any Baha'i who openly criticizes any plan or policy of the administrative order (especially a "Plan" published by the UHJ) is regarded as a dangerous influence on "the Friends" and will be pressured by leadership to conform and remain silent, even if his or her ideas make sense. Slander and backbiting will often follow if the critic persists, followed by official discipline and sometimes culminating in expulsion or excommunication. The vast majority of Baha'is avoid these problem simply by keeping their mouth shut when they disagree, becoming less active in the faith, or allowing themselves to be indoctrinated into believing things they do not really agree with in order to preserve the coherence of their religious belief system. - bahai-faith.com

This theology openly admits
to an ideology of one world government
So...logically...if the Baha'i sect see The United Nations
as THE BEAST, and they are openly supporting the United Nations...well ...er...
shit...you work it out...

I HAVE A CLEAR vision of a multi-cultural Britain - one which values the contribution made by each of our ethnic, cultural and faith communities. I am determined to see a truly dynamic society, in which people from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds can live and work together, whilst retaining their distinctive identities, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.

British Baha'is make a significant contribution towards achieving this vision and we are a stronger, better country because of it. It is particularly important that we celebrate the contribution of the Baha'i faith to the stability and prosperity of British Society as a whole.

I am very much encouraged by the vision the Baha'i community demonstrates in recognising the power of interfaith dialogue and the importance of all citizens fulfilling their potential. Your community has a vibrancy which is well demonstrated by the recent opening of the Baha'i Gardens on Mount Carmel in Israel. It is an outstanding monument to your faith.

Our Global Neighborhood - Report of the Commission on Global Governance

The Commission on Global Governance has released its recommendations in preparation for a World Conference on Global Governance, scheduled for 1998, at which official world governance treaties are expected to be adopted for implementation by the year 2000. Among those recommendations are specific proposals to expand the authority of the United Nations to provide:

Global taxation;
A standing UN army;
An Economic Security Council;
UN authority over the global commons;
An end to the veto power of permanent members of the Security Council;
A new parliamentary body of "civil society" representatives (NGOs);
A new "Petitions Council";
A new Court of Criminal Justice; (Accomplished in July, 1998 in Rome)
Binding verdicts of the International Court of Justice;
Expanded authority for the Secretary General.

These proposals reflect the work of dozens of different agencies and commissions over several years, but are now being advanced by the Commission on Global Governance in its report entitled Our Global Neighborhood (Oxford University Press, 1995, ISBN 0-19-827998-3, 410pp). The Commission consists of 28 individuals, carefully selected because of their prominence, influence, and their ability to effect the implementation of the recommendations. The Commission is not an official body of the United Nations. It was, however, endorsed by the UN Secretary General and funded through two trust funds of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), nine national governments, and several foundations, including the MacArthur Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Carnegie Corporation.

William Tierney, the former United Nations weapons inspector who unveiled the so-called "Saddam Tapes" at a conference in Arlington, Virginia, Saturday, told National Review Online that God directed him to weapons sites in Iraq and that his belief in the importance of one particular site was strengthened when a friend told him that she had a vision of the site in a dream.

In his presentation at the so-called "Intelligence Summit," Tierney, an Arabic speaker, described how he received the "Saddam Tapes" from federal authorities last year as part of his job as a contract translator. It was supposed to be a routine assignment, but Tierney said he soon realized the tapes had special significance and decided to make them public. Tierney said he believes other tapes, which have not yet been heard, will eventually reveal that Iraq was behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Tierney also said that he believes Iraq orchestrated the 2001 anthrax attacks, with Saddam Hussein using American scientist Steven Hatfill as a "proxy" to carry out the mission.

Afterward, in a talk with NRO, Tierney addressed comments he made in February 2003 on "Coast to Coast AM," a radio program devoted to paranormal phenomena. On the program, hosted by George Noory, (who took over from predecessor Art Bell), Tierney discussed a possible nuclear-related facility in Iraq. A description of Tierney's remarks on the "Coast to Coast AM" website says:

Tierney's methods of ascertaining this location were rather unconventional. "I would ask God and just get a sense if something was valid or not, and then know if I needed to pursue it," he said. His assessments through prayer were then confirmed to him by a friend's clairvoyant dream, where he was able to find the location on a map. "Everything she said lined up. This place meets the criteria," Tierney said of the power generator plant near the Tigris River that he believes is actually a cover for a secret uranium facility.

Tierney told NRO that he appeared on the program because he wanted to reach a large audience. "I don't believe a lot of the stuff that goes on on 'Coast to Coast,'" he said. "It's a forum to speak to people who are searching for answers, and that's why I went on." But as far as what he said about the influence of his religious faith on his work as a weapons inspector, Tierney said he has no regrets: "I don't take back anything."

"I am a Christian - I would describe myself as an Acts Christian," Tierney told NRO. "If you look at the book of Acts for the early church, it's pretty exciting stuff. I mean, Christianity, you can do your hour-a-week thing in church, or you can skip the spiritual mountaintops. That's what I've been going for for years."

Tierney said he had originally planned to pursue a career as a classical guitarist when "God sort of grabbed me by the collar and said, 'I don't want you in that.'" He joined the military and eventually found himself working as an intelligence analyst.

In the job, Tierney was required to go through hundreds of reports of possible threats each day. "One of those might involve a nuclear attack against the United States," he said. "If you don't catch it, it could happen, because you, as the analyst, failed. So I'm sitting there going, 'Alright, God, I need help. Thank you for showing me which one of these things is important and which one is not."

Tierney also served as a United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq in the 1990s, and he said he remembers thinking about the book of Psalms as a kind of guiding construct for his work. He particularly recalled the 18th Psalm, verse two, which, in the King James version, says, "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

The phrase "high tower" struck him deeply. "It talked about God is my fortress, God's horn is my salvation and my high tower," Tierney said. "In that context, it's not talking about protection. From a high tower, you can see the enemy coming. So God is my intel. And I took another verse [from Proverbs] that said, 'In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.' What I did was I sort of tweaked it a little bit - In all thy UNSCOM inspections, He shall direct thy paths to the weapons of mass destruction." (UNSCOM was the United Nations Special Commission, the agency originally charged with Iraqi weapons inspections.)

Tierney said he applied that inspiration to a particular site, a facility that might have been part of an Iraqi nuclear program. There was, he said, "a report, I don't want to get into too much of the details right now, but it ended up being a description of an underground uranium enrichment plant. It took me eight months to put the things together, but I came up with a location within a short distance of Tarmiyah where EMIS took place - electromagnetic isotope separation." Tarmiyah had been a site involved in an earlier Iraqi nuclear program, a program that was quite advanced when it was revealed by defectors after the first Gulf War in 1991.

But the people in charge of searching for WMD didn't take Tierney seriously. When he brought it up with his superiors, he said, "People basically rolled their eyes, they didn't follow up on it." After leaving his position as an inspector, he still had the information, and was still frustrated by his inability to get it out. "I'm in a position of what do I do with this?" Tierney said. "Do I go public? Because then I could get in trouble for revealing classified information....I wanted to get it to UNMOVIC so they could check it out, and I didn't know what to do." (UNMOVIC was the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspections Commission, the body that took over the work of UNSCOM.)

That's where his friend's dream came in. "I got on the phone with a good friend I haven't talked to in 15 years. And I just told her what was going on, and she cut me off and said, 'You know, I had a dream about two years ago.' And then she described a location. She didn't know what it was, she just knew it was important to somebody. She drew a picture of this, and it was the exact angle of this location, as a power generation station on the Tigris River. It had two inlets and two outlets, exactly in her picture, and she said, 'There was water flowing into this house, and there was something going on downstairs, and I was standing there and no one knew I was there' - this is in her dream - 'and there was a lot of activity going on, but they didn't know I was there.' And she had no idea, I didn't tell her anything. And right as I was trying to decide what to do with this, she gives me this."

In the end, it all seemed to fit a Biblical pattern. "So the dream - look in the Bible," Tierney said. "There were dreams." Tierney gave the information to UNMOVIC, which, he said, did not adequately pursue it.

Tierney's penchant for applying his religious beliefs to specific intelligence issues was quite controversial in the later stages of his career in government. In 2003, the publication Army Times reported that Tierney's career as a Chief Warrant Officer ended when "the Defense Intelligence Agency said Tierney, an Arabic-speaking analyst and former U.N. arms inspector, overstepped his bounds when he prayed with an Iraqi Christian defector shortly before the 1998 Desert Fox air strikes against Iraq." The DIA concluded that Tierney had "demonstrated an unwillingness to comply with routine intelligence procedures."

Tierney argued that he was being discriminated against because of his religious beliefs, and his congressman, Rep. Charles Canady of Florida, tried to have him reinstated. But in the end, Tierney left the military. Later, in 2002, he worked as a civilian interrogator at the American detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but Army Times reported that "after two months at Guantanamo, Tierney was dismissed when DIA officials once against felt he wasn't following established procedures."

Tierney wasn't the only controversial figure at the "Intelligence Summit." The president of the organization that staged the conference, former federal prosecutor John Loftus, has in the past drawn attention for writing that the Bush family won its wealth by supporting the Nazi regime in the 1930s. Loftus has also written about his theory linking the Enron scandal to the September 11 terrorist attacks, claiming that Vice President Dick Cheney forbade American intelligence from investigating ties between Enron, the Taliban, and al Qaeda in the months leading up to the attacks. "The Enron cover-up confirms that 9/11 was not an intelligence failure or a law enforcement failure (at least not entirely)," Loftus wrote. "Instead, it was a foreign policy failure of the highest order. If Congress ever combines its Enron investigation with 9/11, Cheney's whole house of cards will collapse."

Finally, there are questions surrounding the chief financial supporter of the "Intelligence Summit." Last week, the New York Sun reported that two former CIA directors, James Woolsey and John Deutch, had been scheduled to take part in the Summit, but pulled out at the last minute because of concerns over "new information they received regarding one of the Summit's biggest donors, Michael Cherney, an Israeli citizen who has been denied a visa to enter America because of his alleged ties to the Russian mafia." Cherney's organization, the Michael Cherney Foundation, is listed as the Summit's only "Platinum Sponsor," meaning Cherney contributed at least $100,000 to the event.

According to published reports, investigators for the House Intelligence Committee, working with government intelligence experts, have verified the Saddam Tapes as authentic. So in coming weeks, the controversy over them will be not about their authenticity but about how best to interpret them. And in that, the people associated with the Intelligence Summit start with a significant credibility disadvantage. - national review

The Fellowship - Religious nuts control the Whitehouse...

Not only this last election but several previous ones were "fixed" by a dangerous group of right-wing ["Dominionists"] who dominate the election machine industry and various GOP Secretary of State and congressional offices.

They (known as "The Fellowship" ) have been planning this coup for a very long time but now that their "man" is in the White House they are not about to leave through a fair electoral process.

The Fellowship has some very unsavory founders -- all pro-Nazis: Abraham Vereide, Frank Buchman, and Gustav Gedat, J. Edgar Hoover and James Jesus Angleton were close to the Fellowship.

The use of prison ex-cons like Marion "JR" Horn in KY, John Elder and Jeffrey Dean in WA, and others in the financing and carrying out of the rigging, was mostly arranged through Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministries, an organization that has carte blanche access to anyone deemed of value, epecially computer programmers, after their incarceration and upon their release, especially if they promise service in return for parole.

It also helps that the Fellowship has established strong links to corrupt African governments via fundie missionaries. Guess who's largely behind the Nigerian scams to secretly move dirty oil money from oil-rich Nigeria (and Equatorial Guinea and Angola) into the funding corrupt election manipulators and Enron/Halliburton/AES scams? Some of those "419 emails" have been discovered by US intelligence to contain coded instructions to the money launderers and financial manipulators in the States and in off shore bank havens like the Bahamas and Tortola. The Nigerian scammers operate from the southern Christian south of the country (Lagos and the Niger River Delta) and are in league with fundie Church missions there and in the States.

The Fellowship is now trying to take over government boards in my county of Arlington, VA and are making a major power play in Annapolis, MD. Tom Feeney, Ashcroft, DeLay, Bush (Dubya and Jeb), Cheney, Sean O'Keefe, Condi Rice, John Bolton, Ed Meese, [Charles] Colson, Brownback, Ralph Reed, Frank Wolf, Ernie Fletcher, Katherine Harris, [Newt] Gingrich, JC Watts, Burr, Jindal, Lamar Smith, Zach Wamp, Scalia, Ensign, Kyl, [Kenneth]Blackwell, Bob Ehrlich, Karl Rove, Jack Kemp, James Baker, Clarence Thomas, Tom Coburn, Asa and Tim Hutchinson, Gens. Boykin and Myers, DeMint, Curt Weldon, Grover Norquist, George Allen, [Rick] Santorum, are all in this group. The late Lee Atwater was close to this group.

The Fellowship, which has strong links to the "Rev." Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church, operates in cells and not only takes over governments but also local church congregations to further their goals. Two local congegations taken over by the Fellowship are Falls Church Episcopal and Cherrydale Baptist. They also maintain the private Riverdell School, another way to brainwash young children who are not already being brainwashed by home schooling.

The Prime Minister of Norway has just been outed as a member of this group. In fact, most of the so-called "Coalition of the Willing" nations' leaders are members of The Fellowship, e.g., Tonga, Macedonia, Palau, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Solomon Islands, Uganda, Rwanda, Guatemala, El Salvador, Denmark, Romania, Iceland, Fiji, Georgia, Colombia, possibly also Howard of Australia and Blair of Britain.

The Fellowship believes that ANYTHING is permitted in order to bring about a 1000-yr Kingdom of Christ on Earth, and that includes stealing elections and even murder.

Some of the money used by the Fellowship to obtain real estate and maintain their group came from Saudi Arabia through lucrative defense contracts and pass throughs like the Islamic Institute. - Wayne Madsen

The International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS) : History and Purpose

The International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS) is an interdisciplinary academic forum dedicated to examining the important issues confronting our contemporary world. ICUS is sponsored by the international Cultural Foundation (ICF), which is a non-profit organization set up to promote academic, scientific, religious and cultural exchange among the peoples of the world. ICF was founded in 1968 by the Reverend Sun Myung Moon.

Starting in 1972 with 20 participants, ICUS has continually expanded its scope, while also deepening its relationship with the worldwide academic community. During its tenure, the conference (and the publications program it sponsors) has come to be recognized as a forum for scholars and scientists committed to addressing issues of fundamental concern to humanity. ICUS now has a global network of cooperating scholars. In the words of Dr. Alexander King, President of the Club of Rome, "ICUS is the only world occasion where scholars from diverse disciplines can come together and discuss mutual interactions in their work as a multidisciplinary attack on global problems." - unification.net

The need to expose Cheney's use of terrorism around the world was shown by the fairytales now being released in Seoul that Osama bin Laden already has his men plotting violence inside South Korea. "The government will beef up its intelligence-sharing system with foreign countries to detect terrorist threats and seek cooperation of foreign governments to protect Korean businesses and citizens overseas, who are warned to take extra care," the neo-con Chosun Ilbo reported March 18. "In December, the National Intelligence Service, in a closed door briefing to the National Assembly, said that agents from Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda network, suspected of the Madrid attack, had made several visits to South Korea, according to a lawmaker who attended. NIS officials confirmed that the briefing had taken place but declined to reveal details."

The Korean police and military can boast of many true patriots, but they also have their share of corrupt sympathizers of the old synarchist Reverend Moon Sun-Myung networks which ran domestic terror during the military dictatorships of the 1960s. These networks of Moon and Park Bo-Hi are still closely tied to the Japanese fascist Sasagawa shipping dynasty, which worked for the Nazis as their eyes and ears in ports across Asia, and was then bought out by the Cold War apparat run by John Foster and Allen Dulles. These neo-con networks are "user-friendly" to Mr. Cheney and his ilk to this day.

WHO IS THE EXPECTED MESSIAH?

The scriptures of many religions speak about the coming of a leader who will consummate the fulfillment of the divine will on earth. It will manifests in his personality the righteousness and compassion of God, he will bring about the final defeat of evil and establishes the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

The Hebrew title Messiah--'Christ' in Greek means "anointed one," that person who will be specially chosen by God and also empowered for this mission and its accomplishment. Although the term Messiah is specific to only a few religions, but prophecies that a leader will come for the accomplishment of such a mission are nearly universal.

Different religions call him by various names: Jews long for the promised Messiah; as for the Christians, Messiah is Jesus of Nazareth, who has already come and ascended to heaven but will, reappear (perhaps in a new guise) at his Second Coming. Muslims also expect the second advent of Jesus, who will come as a Muslim and follower of imam al-Mahdi, there are various expectations of a future imam al-Mahdi by the Shiites i.e. the followers of prophet's progeny. Buddhist sutras made the prophecy of the coming of the Maitreya Buddha; Vaishnavite Hindu scriptures prophesy the future descent of an avatar named Kalki.

Zoroastrian scriptures prophecies the coming of the Saoshyant; also some Confucian texts speak of a future "True Man" who will finally bring peace to the world by instituting perfectly the Way of Confucius.

Many of the messianic religions which have arisen in modern societies have utopian and universalist visions which embrace the entire globe. Thus, in the Baha'i Faith the new Messiah, Baha'u'llah, realizes in his person the missions of all the redeemers prophesied by the various world religions. - al-shia.com

Baha'i see The second coming as a sign to ALL religions

For this reason God sent the person (Adam, Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha, Muhammad and the Bab) of the Holy Spirit into this world 7 times in the last 6000 years to prepare all people to accept the Kingdom of the Father (Baha'u'llah) that the son has now established, as the Universal House of Justice with the Davidic King as its president.

Jesus Christ was a Messiah, as the word Christ means Messiah, or specifically Messiah Ben David which, when translated, is 'The Anointed Son of David'. Jesus was a descendant of David who was anointed with the Holy Spirit and had the mission of proclaiming the coming of the Kingdom of God on Earth. Jesus also told us of the One who would actually bring this kingdom in the future, who would be the Second Coming of Christ, or another descendant of David anointed with the Holy Spirit. The 2nd Christ has come fulfilling prophecy by Name, Date, Address and Mission being seated on the Throne of David and bringing an everlasting dynasty of Davidic kings as promised by God in the book of Psalms.

I will not violate my covenant, or alter the word that went forth from my lips. Once and for all I have sworn by my holiness; I will not lie to David. His line shall endure for ever, his throne as long as the sun before me. (Psalms 89:34-36)

This Covenant of an everlasting dynasty of Davidic kings are the guardians of the Baha'i Faith seated at the head of the Universal House of Justice or House of the Lord as prophesied in the second chapter of Isaiah:

It shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it, and many people shall come, and say: Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between nations, and shall decide for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:2-4)

Baha'u'llah is the founder of the Baha'i Faith. He fulfills prophecy as the Second Coming of Christ (Mark 8:38). Just as Jesus the Christ did not come fulfilling the peoples expectation, neither does the Second Christ, Baha'u'llah, appear as the people might imagine. Instead, He appears fulfilling detailed prophecies of all the worlds religions as to the promise of a great World Redeemer who is to appear in the end times and unite all the people of the earth.

- The Baha'i Faith is the fulfillment and answer to the Lord's Prayer.

interestingly the Baha'i faith has been assimilated via New age
mysticism, into the Maitreya cult, which sees Baha'i as it's 5th Seal

Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah).

Maitreya explained that there shall be no change period lasting hundreds of years or even decades, as was the case with Roman Empire, but the changes shall be completed during ten or maximum twenty years. In the process, the government form we know today will disappear. Our new civilization will be the brotherhood of man sharing justice and peace. Maitreya is said to stay with us for the next 2000 years. Than he will leave only to return for the second coming.

Maitreya directly or through his Masters works closely with the leaders of a number of countries, with those in high positions of power, industry, banking and religion, including those very near to the current Pope and White House. All of them are aware of the process, but have not yet come out because they, currently, do not collaborate closely between themselves, or were forbidden to do so to permit the manifestation of the free choice of the single beings. Mr. Petersen said he was chosen to step out because he is not widely known person and therefore was able to give the notice in a measured way. - global-elite.org

Heres one mans opinion

Baha'i's teachings are based on Ishmaelis' teachings, that assert that in each age a Prophet comes to clarify and advance human understanding and further the revelations from previous Prophets. This process, according to them, continues forever. We do not say that, we say that there have been Seven Major religions (Revelations) from God and when you put these Seven Revelations (Steps, Seals) together, the whole Plan of God is Revealed. There is not such a thing that the Prophetic Revelations will continue forever. With the Seventh Revelation, the Mystery of God will be Finished (Revelation 10:7). So what the Baha'i's say is not scriptural, but is a belief borrowed from the Ishmaelis. Our teachings are based on the Scriptures and are directly from God.

Baha'i's do not talk about the Seven Seals that the Bible teaches (the book of Revelation). Only the Begotten Son of God has the ability to open the Book Sealed with the Seven Seals (Revelation chapter 5). Bab and Baha'i did not open the Seven Seals, they opened the Fifth Seal (Universalism).

There are more differences between our teachings and those of the Baha'i's that are not mentioned here. I mentioned only a few here, which are the most important ones. Again, Baha'i's teachings are not scriptural and are based on an Islamic Cult called Ishmaelis. Indeed God clearly says that it (Bab/Baha'i' teaching) is not perfect Revelation chapter 3, read THOTH). That is why they have been in trouble from the very beginning. It was not Baha'i that fulfilled all the Prophecies about the coming of God's Last Revelation. All the earth did not hear Him when He spoke. All the earth did not see Him. It was not true that you did not have to go anywhere to hear Him, if they say He is in desert and/or He is the mountains, etc. do not go. All these are fulfilled through Maitreya and His Teachings.

So our teachings are not borrowed from the Baha'i's. Our Claim is based on the Scriptures. We have fulfilled the Prophecies that Baha'i could never have fulfilled. - maitreya.org

The Main players:

Left to Right: Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891) - Alice Ann Bailey (1880-1949) -
Benjamin Creme (born in 1922) - Maitreya the World Teacher (a.k.a. The Christ) -

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891) -

Helena Blavatsky was a great authority on theosophy, the doctrines of which she professed she derived from the fountainhead in Tibet.

Before the establishment of the Theosophical Society there was the founding of the Miracle Club. This was a club where members were admitted to seances conducted by the club medium David Dana, brother of Charles Dana editor of the New York Sun, and suggested by HPB. Members were forbidden to disclose their experiences or the address of the meeting place. The club only lasted a few weeks because David wanted to be paid, which HPB did not agree to.

The failure of the Miracle Club, however, sparked the founding of the Theosophical Society. The membership itself, with the enthusiasm of HPB, did not disperse. In striving to find a common purpose Olcott scribbled a hasty note asking, "Would it not be a good thing to form a society for this kind of study?" The phrase this kind of study referred to subjects such as the Egyptian mysteries and the kabbalah which had been discussed in a lecture previously given to an informal group by J. H. Felt, an architect and engineer. He had said, "the dog-and hawk-headed figures of Egyptian hieroglyphics were accurate pictures of elementals, the spirits who convey messages at seances."

The infant society was eagerly formed in September1875. It was co-founded by Olcott along with William Q. Judge. Its name was furnished by Charles Sotheran who was of independent means, a high Mason, a Rosicrucian, and a student of the kabbalah. Sotheran thought the name of the Miracle Club was too cheap; he considered Egyptological Society, too limited; looking through a dictionary, he found the word theosophy, a word that was unanimously agreed on at the next meeting because it seemed to express esoteric truth as well as covering the aspects of occult scientific research, both of which were goals of the Society. Because of Olcott's love for red tape and Helena's ritualism the Society included all of the pomp originally planned for the Miracle Club. There was the policy of secrecy, each member wrote F.T.S (Fellow, Theosophical Society) after their name, and recognized each other by secret signs, most of which were borrowed from Egyptian occultism and the Grand Lodge of Cairo.

Contacted by the Master Morya in 1851. After years of contact with her spirit masters she helped to found the Theosophical Society in 1875. Published Isis Unveiled in 1877, established Lucifer, an occult magazine, in London in 1887, and then published The Secret Doctrine in 1888.

Alice Ann Bailey (1880-1949) -

Contacted by the Master Koot Humi in 1895. In 1917 she became acquainted with students of Blavatsky and then joined the Theosophical Society. In 1919 the Master Djwhal Khul contacted her and asked for her assistance in taking some dictation. At first she refused out of fear, but then later accepted upon instruction from the Master Koot Humi. The Master Djwhal Khul then wrote eighteen books through Bailey over the next thirty years. She founded the hugely influential Lucis Trust in 1922.

Claiming personality and philosophical differences with the Krotona, California branch of the Theosophical Society, Alice and Foster Bailey moved with her three daughters to New York City. They formed a publishing company with the somewhat startling name of Lucifer Publishing Company and released the first of their many books to follow under that publishing company's original name. In 1924, they changed the name of the business to the somewhat less startling "Lucis Publishing Company." They organized non-profit support organizations by the following names:

--Lucis Trust

--Triangles

--The Arcane School

Their work was per Alice Bailey's writings "to prepare the way for the Reappearance of the Christ." She wrote that her works were instructions for 'disciples' in the last quarter of the 20th Century. She also wrote that the bulk of her writings were not her own, but that she was acting as an amanuensis or scribe for "The Tibetan Master", an entity she identified as Dhwhal Khul, an alleged Tibetan monk communicating with her from somewhere in Asia. Alice became a willing instrument of the masters." Between 1919 and 1949, Alice wrote 24 books, dictated "telepathically" by the "masters," they gave specific instructions to disciples concerning "The Plan" and its implementation. Shortly after Alice became subject to the "masters", she and Foster Bailey established Lucifer Publishing Company in 1922 to help disseminate her works. In 1923 the name was changed to Lucis Publishing Company. - global-elite.org listing on Bailey

Benjamin Creme (born in 1922) -

From a young age he was a student of the works of Blavatsky and Bailey, (and other occultists). First contacted by The Master (full name undisclosed) in 1959. The Master informed him that he would play a major role in the reappearance of Maitreya the Christ. Formed Share International Foundation in 1975. Since then he has been travelling the globe, speaking and lecturing in preparation for The Christ, and he claims to be in direct telepathic contact with both The Master and Maitreya.

Creme insists Maitreya is the fulfillment of the messianic hope found in many religions. According to Creme's worldview, Maitreya is the fulfillment of the Christian expecta-tion of the coming of Christ, the Jewish longing for Messiah, the Muslim hope for the Imam Madhi, the Hindu's longing for the next Avatar named Kalki and the Buddhist anticipation of Maitreya Buddha. All these religious projections for the future, he claims, will be realised in one individual.

Benjamin Creme (Share International Foundation): "Esoteric science postulates seven streams of energy, or rays, whose interaction, at every conceivable frequency, creates everything in Cosmos…three primary rays, or rays of aspect, and four secondary rays of attribute." The "Rays of Aspect" are: (1) Power, Will or Purpose; (2) Love-Wisdom; (3) Active, Creative Intelligence. The "Rays of Attribute" are: (4) Harmony through Conflict, Beauty or Art; (5) Concrete Science or Knowledge; (6) Abstract Idealism or Devotion; (7) Ceremonial Order or Magic or Ritual or Organization.[1]

Creme was involved as early as 1953 with an interest in Flying Saucers. He says, "In mid-1957, I began to work with a society involved with the U.F.O. phenomenon, which claimed contact with the Space Brothers. With this group I did my first public speaking, but more importantly, discovered my ability to transmit the cosmic spiritual energies from the Space People.... Toward the end of 1958 I withdrew from this society and entered into the closest contact with, and work for, the Space Brothers," (Ibid, p. 13).

Maitreya the World Teacher (a.k.a. The Christ) -

Maitreya is said to be an "Ascended Master" - a "Secret Chief" - who, in 1977, took human form and left his "ancient retreat in the Himalayas" to reside in the Indo-Pakistani community of London. "He has been living and working there, seemingly as an ordinary man, his true status known to relatively few," according to Share International, the non-profit organization dedicated to preparing the world for his lordship. When the world is ready - and desperate enough - Maitreya's "Day of Declaration" will arrive, on which he will telepathically communicate his reality to the world. Voila - instant karma. Share International says "at this time of great political, economic and social crisis, Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation."

Maitreya's emergence has been slow and fitfull, supposedly to avoid infringing humanity's free will, though Share lists numerous miraculous appearances around the world. Curiously, "in most cases, he has magnetized water in the vicinity before he appeared." (Crop circles - those that are not obvious hoaxes - also often demonstrate bizarre magnetic properties.) And curiouser: "The people before whom he appears are in every case fundamentalists of one persuasion or another. Denominationally they vary tremendously but the consistent factor is that they are all extremely dogmatic in their beliefs. Maitreya appears to them to soften them up. These are the groups from whom, throughout the world, he expects the major opposition and rejection."

The most dramatic and best documented of his appearances occurred in Nairobi, in 1988. Here is the Share account, while others can be read on this page, compiled by someone who believes something quite different about Maitreya.

As he allegedly appeared in Kenya in 1988. Creme claims that Maitreya created and inhabited a human body in 1977, and privately entered society taking up residence in London. Since then he is alleged to have privately appeared to thousands of individuals, performing miracles and wonders and convincing many of the truth of his mission. (Wayne S. Peterson is one influential casualty, as is Mikhail Gorbachev.)

the roots of Maitreya? Spiritualism / manifestation / channeling

The Spiritualism movement began with what Allen Kardec termed typtology. Typtology is a mode of spirit communication in which spirits lift and tilt a table during a seance to produce rapping sounds. In organized seances, a number of people would sit around a table, hold hands, concentrate, and ask questions of the spirits. The spirits would then answer their questions through a series of raps, or knocks, similar to someone knocking on a door. In order to question the spirits, sometimes a simple yes or no would be indicated by a prescribed number of knocks. In another method, called alphabetical typtology, letters of the alphabet were recited and when the letter that the spirit wanted to draw attention to was called, a rap could be heard; thus spelling out words, sentences, and so on. Using this method, it was possible to hold lengthy, detailed conversations with the mysterious entities responsible for spirit-rapping.

The first recorded spirit-rapping began in America in 1848 with the playful efforts of Margaretta and Kate Fox to communicate with the spirits of the dead. Much to their astonishment, they succeeded in establishing a ghostly dialogue with the spirit of Charles Haynes. Using rapping noises as its means of communication, Hayne's spirit conveyed the message that he had been killed and buried in the basement of their home.

When bones were found in their basement, what had begun as innocent fun became a sensation. From these humble beginnings, what came to be known as the Spiritualism movement took root and grew to international proportions. As a result of their spiritualistic activities, the Fox sisters were condemned and lived in constant danger. They were attacked by religious fanatics in their community, and besieged by angry mobs several times. They were also exploited, and eventually betrayed by their own sister, Leah, who was said to have been the beneficiary of most of the donations collected from those who came to the Fox sisters for spiritual counseling.

As the spiritualism movement got underway in America and Europe, the strange but well-documented manifestations of spirit communication such as spirit-rapping and seance channeling were regarded as weird and unexplainable events. - source

A FRAUD

from the New York World, October 21, 1888

On many occasions, THE WORLD has been able to expose the fraudulent practices of so-called spirit mediums and turn the bright light of careful investigation upon the secret methods of these social vampires. Several times have WORLD reporters torn the white robes from the mediums as they groped about their darkened parlors deceiving their dupes into the belief that the returned spirits of their friends were before them. Besides this many persons have been saved from the clutches of these soulless impostors just as the mediums were about to hold them within their avaricious grasp.

But the severest blow that Spiritualism has ever received is delivered to-day through the solemn declarations of the greatest medium of the world that it is all a fraud, a deception, a lie. This statement is made by Mrs. Margaret Fox Kane, who has been able, through long training and early muscular development, to produce peculiar rappings and knocks which were affirmed to be spiritual manifestations, and which were so skillfully done as to baffle all attempts at discovery. It was this woman, then Margaret Fox, and the most expert of the world-famous "Fox sisters," who was first brought before the public as a medium. Her tour of the great cities of the United States is historical. She was seen by most of the prominent theologians, physicians and professional men, but there was not one who could solve the mysterious power that seemed to possess her nor imitate her alleged spiritual rappings.
