created by their very own push for their
twisted undemocratic version of
a 4th Industrial revolution

"With this report, the World Economic Forum proposes an approach to assess how well countries are performing against this new criterion. I foresee a new global divide between countries who understand innovative transformations and those that don't. Only those economies that recognize the importance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution will be able to expand opportunities for their people."

Putins Warning to the world: December 2021

"There is a chance to face a real setback in global development, which is fraught with a fight of all against all and attempts to resolve looming controversies through a search for internal and external enemies,"

"The situation might develop unpredictably and uncontrollably. It definitely will if nothing is done to prevent this.

"Of course, I hope that such a hot global conflict is impossible in principle now. I really do hope so. It would mean the end to our civilisation."

NATO Yugoslavia

...the US and NATO launched a one-sided war against Yugoslavia, bombing Serbia and its capital Belgrade for 78 straight days. Factories, schools and hospitals were destroyed, along with bridges, roads and the electrical grid in a bid to bomb the Serbian population into submission to US and Western European imperialism's domination of the Balkans.

The airstrikes killed around 2,500 people and wounded another 12,500 according to Serbian estimates.

The bombing destroyed and damaged 25,000 housing units, 470 km of roads and 595 kilometers of railroad were disabled. 14 airports, 19 hospitals, 20 health centers, 18 kindergartens, 69 schools, 176 cultural monuments and 44 bridges were damaged, while 38 were destroyed.

On the night of April 23, 1999, in two hours and six minutes after midnight, NATO attacked the building of RTS, killing 16 workers. This was the first case that the media house was declared a legitimate military goal.

During the bombing, 2,300 air strikes were carried out on 995 facilities across the country, and 1,150 combat aircraft launched close to 420,000 missiles of a total mass of 22,000 tons.

NATO launched 1,300 cruise missiles, extradited 37,000 "cluster bombs", using prohibited ammunition with depleted uranium.

The decision to bomb the then FRY was made for the first time in history, without the approval of the UN Security Council, and the order was issued by NATO Secretary General Javier Solana to the then commander of the Allied Forces, US General Wesley Clark.

Victim of a murder plot?

But before leaving for Vienna on Friday, Yushchenho reiterated that he had been the victim of a murder plot.

"I believe now more and more that what happened to me was an act of a settling of political scores," he told reporters. "The aim was to kill me."

He said he planned to return to Kiev on Sunday and was confident of defeating Yanukovych when voters return to the polls in two weeks.

"The recent revolution (in Ukraine) has opened the eyes of many civil servants who were implicated in (fraud) during the earlier rounds," he said.

Yushchenko pushes for EU membership

In an interview with the Financial Times published on Saturday, he called on the European Union to accept his country as a future member of the 25-strong bloc at a future date.

"Of course, Ukraine is waiting for real concrete steps in response to these democratic and political processes that are occurring in Ukraine," Yushchenko said in an interview with the Financial Times published on Saturday. "We are awaiting analogous steps from the European Union. In these 17 days we have shown that we are a different country, we are a different people."

Who poisoned Viktor Yushchenko?

Was he a western supporter? or sympathetic to Russia?

according to WSWS

The 2014 coup represented the temporary culmination of long-standing efforts by US imperialism to install a puppet regime on the borders of Russia. It brought the world a major step closer to a war between the world's largest nuclear powers, the US and Russia.

The regime change prompted the outbreak of an ongoing civil war in the East of Ukraine between Russian-backed separatists and the US-backed Ukrainian army that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands and displaced millions. The Western-backed oligarchic regimes in Kiev have since imposed enormous austerity on the Ukrainian working class, which now ranks as the poorest in Europe.

In the US, the coup was a catalyzer for an ever more aggressive campaign against Russia and the Putin-regime, and a significant shift to the right among layers of the upper middle class. US imperialism has continued to fund the Ukrainian state and far-right forces with billions of dollars for the civil war in East Ukraine and further war preparations against Russia.

The German bourgeoisie seized upon the coup as a pretext for aggressively stepping up its campaign to remilitarize and justify the crimes of fascist forces. For the first time since the end of World War II, representatives of a German government were seen on photos with avowed Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

Separatist rebels stand trial

media psyops ran 24 hours a day

" The long-awaited Dutch report into the shooting down of flight MH17 suggests attempts were made to cover up the causes of the disaster, including the removal from the crash site of parts of the aeroplane showing severe damage from a Buk missile."

Guardian

narrative: Boeing 777 was shot down on 17 July 2014 over an area of Ukraine controlled by Russia-backed rebels, who for several days refused to allow access to the sprawling crash site. All 298 people on board died.

Dutch prosecutors demand life sentences in MH17 downing

22nd Jan 2021 - Dutch prosecutors have demanded life sentences for four suspects in the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine in 2014.

Prosecutors said on Wednesday the four recklessly used a Russian missile to bring down the passenger jet, killing all 298 passengers and crew.

Public prosecutor Manon Ridderbeks made the sentence demand at the end of a three-day presentation of evidence. The suspects are being tried in absentia.

"The downing of MH17 with a Buk missile brutally ended the lives of all 298 people on board. Incredibly deep and irreversible suffering has been caused to the next of kin," Ridderbeks told the court.

Prosecutors accuse Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky and Igor Pulatov, as well as Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko, who were separatist rebels fighting Ukrainian government forces in 2014, of forming a team that aimed to bring down Ukrainian planes using a missile system trucked in from a Russian military base.

Prosecutor Thijs Berger told judges earlier on Wednesday that it is legally irrelevant that the suspects wanted to shoot down military and not civilian aircraft.

"Legally speaking, they were ordinary citizens, they were not allowed to commit any violence," he said.

The trial is being held in the Netherlands at a high-security courtroom near Schiphol Airport because nearly 200 of those on board were Dutch citizens.

Wednesday's sentence demands came amid soaring tensions between Moscow and the West over a Russian troop buildup near Ukraine that has drawn fears of an invasion. Russia has denied plans to attack its neighbour.

Defence lawyers for Pulatov, who is the only suspect who is represented in court, will make their presentation to judges in March. Verdicts are not expected until September next year at the earliest.

Prosecutors had spent the previous two days explaining in meticulous detail the indictment and evidence backing it up to the panel of judges.

Prosecutors plotted in detail the route they say the Buk missile took to and from the launch site in an agricultural field near the village of Pervomaiskyi, using witnesses, social media posts, photos and video and intercepted phone calls and mobile phone location data.

They also discussed the forensic evidence gathered from the wreckage and bodies of victims that were recovered from eastern Ukraine and returned to the Netherlands for examination. Earlier in the trial, judges visited a hangar on a Dutch military airbase where the wreckage is stored to view the mangled wreckage fragments.

The prosecutors concluded that the plane was shot down by a Buk missile belonging to the Russian 53rd Anti Aircraft Missile Brigade that was driven to the launch location "by orders of and under guidance of the suspects".

The prosecutors also cited tapped conversations between Dubinski and Kharchenko discussing shooting down what they initially thought was a Ukrainian warplane.

Prosecutors argue that Girkin and Dubinsky were senior separatist rebels while Pulatov and Kharchenko were their direct subordinates.

"Together they are responsible for the deployment of the Buk telar used to shoot down flight MH17," prosecutors said in a written summary of their arguments.

What are the Minsk Agreements?

The Minsk Protocol (later known as Minsk-1) with the Minsk Memorandum of September 2014 and the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements (Minsk-2) are agreements between Ukraine and Russia to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

On 5 September 2014, the representatives of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine (TCG – Russia, Ukraine, and the OSCE), Russia and Ukraine, signed the Minsk Protocol later known as Minsk-1 under the auspices of the OSCE in the Belarusian capital, Minsk. Representatives of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics ("DNR," "LNR") signed the agreement too. The Minsk Protocol was an agreement to halt the war in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas. The details of the Minsk Protocol largely resembled Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's 20 June 2014 "fifteen-point peace plan." The Protocol was followed up on 19 September 2014 by an additional Memorandum, which detailed the conditions of a ceasefire. The agreement failed to stop fighting, however, it significantly reduced fighting in the conflict zone for months until it collapsed in December 2014 – January 2015.

On 11 February 2015, the second Minsk agreement ("Package of measures for the Implementation of the Minsk agreements," Minsk-2) was signed by the TCG, the representatives of "LNR/DNR" signed it again too. The signing was preceded by the summit of leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France, and Germany who agreed to a package of measures to alleviate the war in the Donbas. The Minsk-2 was intended to revive Minsk-1.

Deutche Welt again provides the skewed perspective

why the delay in this public enquiry?

Wiltshire novichok victim's family concerned at public inquiry delay

Russia has continued its Novichok chemical weapon development program despite pledging to end it and allegedly destroying its entire chemical weapons stockpile by 2017, several investigative outlets reported on Friday.

The investigation was spearheaded by researchers from Bellingcat and The Insider in collaboration with German magazine Der Spiegel and contributing investigations from Radio Liberty.

"Not only did Russia did not destroy its chemical weapons, but it continues to develop it and produce for the needs of the special services — this is what we have found during our research that took more than a year to complete," said Russian investigative outlet The Insider.

Military scientists, who worked for the original project while it was still run by Russia's Ministry of Defense, were dispersed in various civilian and military organizations after its end. Once there, however, they continued their work on the chemical weapons program, according to Bellingcat.

Top scientists at the institutes communicated with Russia's military intelligence, known as the GRU, according to the yearlong investigation.

German, French and Swedish labs identified that a Novichok group nerve agent was used in the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in August.

Double-agent Sergei Skripal, and his daughter, Yulia, were also poisoned by a Novichok nerve agent in the UK in 2018.

Western government accuse Russian authorities of being behind both poisonings, but the Kremlin has denied any involvement.

Novichok was developed as part of a Soviet-era program. Russia is a signatory of a chemical weapons convention that came into force in 1997 and which bans the production of chemical weapons. The Kremlin claims it has no active chemical weapons program.

Additionally, Russia in 2017 reported that it had completely destroyed Russia's chemical weapons stockpiles.

Deutche Welt

New evidence has emerged of gross violations during the UK investigation into the alleged poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury on 4th March 2018. The new revelations put into question the main evidence that the Skripals were poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok.

The blood samples taken from the Skripals could have been tampered with so that they test positive for Novichok, newly disclosed information obtained from the UK Ministry of Defense reveals. Furthermore, documents show that Russia was not the only country in the world that could be linked to the nerve agent Novichok.

The US had covered up its own Novichok program masked as research on fourth generation nerve agents (FGAs) and muzzled the Organisation for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) a decade before the Skripals attack. Dilyana Gaytandzhieva
