I looked down and saw
A Pair of Ants fighting
one had the other in
a proper grip
tussling and pulling
jostling for position

I put a tenner each way on it
then realising i would be
penniless nonetheless
alone here,
with no one to bet with
I became God

making pointless
wagers in
meaningless
time

the ants ignored me
simply carried on fighting
