Timid new world; Planet Westworld

Must see; All Watched over by Machines of Loving Grace« (2011) by Adam Curtis.

1. Love and Power. This is the story of the dream that rose up in the 1990s that computers could create a new kind of stable world. They would bring about a new kind global capitalism free of all risk and without the boom and bust of the past. They would also abolish political power and create a new kind of democracy through the Internet where millions of individuals would be connected as nodes in cybernetic systems - without hierarchy.

2. The Use and Abuse of Vegetational Concepts. This is the story of how our modern scientific idea of nature, the self-regulating ecosystem, is actually a machine fantasy. It has little to do with the real complexity of nature. It is based on cybernetic ideas that were projected on to nature in the 1950s by ambitious scientists. A static machine theory of order that sees humans, and everything else on the planet, as components - cogs - in a system.

3. The Monkey in the Machine and the Machine in the Monkey. This episode looks at why we humans find this machine vision so beguiling. The film argues it is because all political dreams of changing the world for the better seem to have failed - so we have retreated into machine-fantasies that say we have no control over our actions because they excuse our failure.

Quotes from the Documentary

“What some people were begining to see was that the computer systems and the global networks they had created hadn’t distributed power. They had just shifted it and, if anything, had concentrated it in new forms. And some of the computer utopians from Silicon Valley were also beginning to realise that the World Wide Web was not a new kind of democracy, but was something far more complicated where power was exercised over the individual in new and surprising ways.”

“The orginal promise of the Californian ideology was that the computers would liberate us from all the old forms of political control and we would become Randian heroes in control of our own destiny. Instead, today we feel the opposite, that we are helpless components in a global system, a system that is controlled by a rigid logic that we are powerless to challenge or to change.”

“The failure of the commune movement and the fate of the revolutions show the limitations of the self organising model. It cannot deal with the central dynamic forces of human society – politics and power. The hippies took up the idea of a networked society because they were disillusioned with politics. They believed that this alternative way of organising the world was good because it was based on the underlying order of nature. But this was a fantasy. In reality, what they adopted was an idea taken from the cold and logical world of the machines. Now in our age, we are all disillusioned with politics and this machine organising principle has risen up to become the ideology of our age. But what we are discovering is that, if we see ourselves as components in a system, that it is very difficult to change the world. It is a very good way of organising things, even rebellions, but it offers no ideas about what comes next. And just like in the communes, it leaves us helpless in the face of those already in power in the world.”

In Adam Curtis' Documentary he asserts that Sir Arthur Tansleys
concept of the Ecosystem is a badly flawed
hypothesis based on nothing more
than a complete over simplification of something he called
The Great Universal Law of Equilibrium.

This was the concept that Natural Order
was nothing more than a mechanism
that regulated nature like a machine.

The ecosystem is a myth promoted by ecologists who
see machines and computer modelling as a basis for structuring nature

It is the extension of Colonial Neo Victorian Garden projects

Natural systems are in fact CHAOS.

And trying to reign them in is impossible.

The manipulation of such forces, only creates a different form of chaos.

Therefore, can one assume that trying to 'cure' climate change is also impossible?

So why are Tansleys theories seemingly still the backbone
of Climate Change Science & Ecology today?

Wind farms are a classic example - lots of windmills - rows & rows -
are they a blight on the countryside?

One can observe arguments boil over the effects
on the beauty of the environment.

The scarred British hillsides grass and borders, fields, farmland where forests once stood.

so ask yourself this: where are the turbines in the cities?

Why are there no blades spinning on top of the skyscrapers... office buildings.
These municipal eyesores would become art, kinetic towers, powering themselves

so where are they?

answer:

The blighted countryside debate is a ruse to convince the public that we still have real 'natural' areas of rolling countryside. In reality the land is a scarred desert... a managed environment once forests grew wild acres of fields managed themselves

The Planet is a neo-victorian garden experiment.

and so turbines become politically useful... the tourist industry needs walking wallets [that's the public]
to spend cash on the hyper-real notion of beauty of nature

it helps the left/right paradigm try to keep 'nature lovers' to the right firmly in the farmers camps and
city dwellers to the left in the middle class hippie green environmentalist camp

Britain along with the rest of the planet is managed by faceless autocrats

Thousands of satellites loom above as spooks watch the globe by proxy.

The worlds countries & it's militaries are readying for a collective command and control via a
space based force, all with a corporate agenda to rule us with uber-capitalistic, bare faced, ugly, mind control.

We are part of a system...which is more a 'space station' than a planet.

Sir Arthur Tansley’s ecosystem concept

Ecosystem ecology has played a central role in our understanding of the natural world, and the importance of plants as the organisms that define the amount and flow of energy entering the ecosystem demonstrates the fundamental role of plant science in our understanding of how ecosystems function.

selling the same old myth...2018 - Nature magazine pushes the Club Of Rome

“There is high risk for pushing the Earth’s life supporting systems
beyond irreversible trigger-points by 2050,”

The Limits to Growth. The Club of rome 1972

Gloomy 1970s predictions about Earth’s fate still hold true

Four decades ago, the Club of Rome predicted looming economic collapse in its iconic report The Limits to Growth. An update of the analysis sees much the same picture.

On the eve of one of the twentieth century’s most notable economic shocks — the 1973 oil crisis — an influential group of researchers released a now-iconic report entitled The Limits to Growth.

The work, which received wide attention and proved controversial, painted a bleak picture of humanity’s future. Left unchecked, it said, economic and population growth would deplete the planet’s resources and cause economic collapse around 2070.

More than four decades later, the report’s main conclusions are still valid, according to a group of independent researchers who have updated the work using more-sophisticated analytical tools. Like the 1972 report, the latest work was commissioned by the Club of Rome, a group of liberal scientists, economists and industrialists that was founded in 1968.

Introducing The Green Elite; your Global Management Teams precursers

Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands - [now deceased]

"...in 1954 initiated the annual Bilderberg Conference, a meeting of influential bankers, economists, and politicians. In 1961 he helped establish the World Wildlife Fund and served as its first president." Britannica

Prince Bernhard was a driving force behind the creation of WWF in 1961, and served as the organization's first International President from 1961 to 1976 - Panda.Org

HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, was former President of WWF from 1981-1996

The WWF represents the birth of the Green Movement, and was started by eugenicists who's goals are to reduce the world's population.

note; Klaus Schwab WEF / UN is also a prominent Bilderberger...

note the green - climate change - sustainable development aims of the global reset

Prince Philips son, Prince Charles has announced his support of a Great Global Reset in appearances at the WEF.

He is also the incumbant president of the WWF

State of the World? or ...The World as a State?

As you may be able to see; Climate change & the notion of sustainable development is an ever present buzz word - along with 'inclusion'. They are constant elements within the rhetoric of the WEF & it's minions & cohorts.

These entities want to 'transform our world'

Planet Westworld.

NOTE; this story via the Guardian from November 19th 2020, entitled "Megaprojects risk pushing forests past tipping point – report".

here's the quote i found particularly noteworthy;

"One step is ensuring the benefits of forests are included when assessing megaprojects."

“If the true value of forests was factored in – reducing climate change, protecting animal habitats and reducing the spread of zoonotic diseases [like the coronavirus], keeping water sources clean and a long list of other benefits without a price tag – then many of these projects would never get the green light,.”

Another step is considering alternative ways to develop poorer areas. Anne Larson, a team leader at Cifor, said: “There is still a fundamental disconnect between what governments and companies think development has to look like and the kind of actions needed for healthy livelihoods and a healthy planet."

Guardian November 19th 2020

so we can see lots of agendas here;

so,

1. apparently the planet can have a 'health'. This is actually the age old ascribing of a machine system onto a planet that is a form of chaos beyond humans capability to understand or control [yet].

2. Poorer Developing nations are at those fault - Africa being cited in this particular case.

3. 'zoonotic coronavirus'. Apparently protecting animal habitats - would stop the spread of zoonotic disease. How can this be solved? I can see the WWF involved here in this thinking - the game parking of all wildlife into manageable zones.

What i believe we are witnessing is a paradigm being introduced into the 'Climate Change / Covid 19' narrative that allows those controlling the 'run out' of the 4th industrial revolution -

'Members' pollution is good - non members is bad -

Membership of the 'club' - is needed to proceed.

The control of the environment will only happen if they simplify it. That means destroying it. A commodification process of reshaping our planet into a simpler malleable entity. Pollution is the obvious way to do this.

And i Believe this is what they have been doing since the 19th Century.

It is a Westworld version of Nature

The Princely sum...Planetary repair?
Back to what? Pre industrialization?
I very much doubt it.

Prince Charles' New Marshall Plan

"His Royal Highness calls for a Marshall-like Plan for Nature, People and Planet to accelerate progress... The pace and scale of the Reset effort required is unprecedented and the Sustainable Markets Initiative, working with ‘Coalitions of the Willing’, is identifying and scaling up solutions that aim to put Nature, People and Planet at the heart of our economy. " To accelerate these efforts, HRH called for a form of ‘Marshall Plan for Nature, People and Planet’ to advance a ‘blue-green’ recovery and set the course for a sustainable future rooted in a new economic model – a circular bioeconomy that puts Nature and the restoration of Natural Capital back at the centre of the entire process."

The I.M.F / World Bank / U.N backed Cash for Nature programme?

Close to 30 countries have jointly pledged US$4.1 billion to the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to better protect the future of the planet and human well-being. With the health of the global environment worsening, the GEF has received strong support for its new four-year investment cycle, (known as GEF-7), to help safeguard the world’s forests, land, water, climate, and oceans, build green cities, protect threatened wildlife, and tackle new environmental threats like marine plastic pollution.

According to the GEF's website, the facility "was established on the eve of the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, to help tackle our planet’s most pressing environmental problems." It has 18 "implementing partners" including the Rockefeller-funded Food and Agricultural Organization, the foundation-funded and corporate-friendly International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the Maurice Strong-created United Nations Environment Programme, and the Prince Bernhard / Prince Philip-founded World Wildlife Fund.

If such a pedigree immediately casts doubt on the altruistic intentions of the bank, one is right to be skeptical. In reality, the GEF and its affiliated environmental finance organizations have an ulterior motive: using the debt chains sown by the World Bank and IMF on impoverished third world nations as leverage to gain control over vast swathes of these countries' lands and resources, and funnel money to the banksters' corporate cronies.

Sound far-fetched? The practice is fully admitted to, well-documented, and even has a catchy name: debt-for-nature swaps.

The GEF's own documents describe debt-for-nature swaps this way:

"Debt-for-nature swaps are voluntary transactions in which a portion of a developing country’s hard-currency debt is canceled or reduced by a creditor. In exchange, the debtor agrees to allocate a portion of its cancelled debt in local currency to environmental programs or projects. Initially, most were private swaps in which international environmental NGOs raised the funds and initiated the process. In recent years, many swaps have been bilateral, where both the creditor and debtor are governments. Other creditors can include commercial banks or commercial firms owed money by governments of developing countries."

Bill Gates funds Geo-Engineering Project

The Sugar Daddy of Geoengineering

Bill Gates’ fossil fuel interests and funding for global climate engineering

ETC Group contributes to a new Global Citizen’s Report ‘Gates to a Global Empire’ which explores the many ways in which the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation wield immense influence across the globe, driving a form of “techno-solutionism” that prioritizes corporate power and profit and ignores over strengthening communities and sustainable solutions. Here we examine Bill Gates’ well-known promotion and funding of untested and potentially devastating geoengineering technologies, which provide cover for his less-known financial investments in fossil fuel technologies. Gates and his engineering-for-everything mentality is an obstacle to keeping fossil fuels in the ground.

{snip}

Geoengineering refers, essentially, to attempts to stop global temperature increases by blocking the sun or sucking carbon out of the air on a massive, global scale—instead of reducing carbon emissions to zero. The potential risks run the gamut from unexpected feedback effects that destabilize the global climate, to droughts and floods in Africa and South America, to land grabs, ecological destabilization, ocean acidification, pollution and growing the political and financial power of the fossil fuel industry. This is a high risk strategy: the consequences we know about are massive, the ones that are unknown could be more so. The process could alter weather patterns locally, regionally and globally, with destabilising geopolitical impacts as well.

TRANSHUMANISM - 1957,by Julian Huxley

“The Vital Importance of Eugenics” (1933)

Sterilization of the unfit and identification of carriers of defective genotypes

Huxley argued that the principle goal of eugenics in the short term should be to ensure that mentally defective individuals cease having children. He advocated in particular for:

· Prohibition of marriage of the unfit
· Segregation of institutions containing degenerate individuals
· Sterilization of the unfit

However, Huxley was not particularly concerned with the specifics of how short-range eugenics were implemented, so long as degenerate individuals were stopped from reproducing as quickly as possible.

He additionally lamented that the process of eliminating feeble-mindedness from the population would be a particularly difficult task, due to the recessive nature of certain genes coding for mental defects. Therefore, he proposed that one of the long-term goals of eugenics should be the discovery of a method through which carriers of genes for mental deficiency could be accurately diagnosed, though these individuals do not exhibit defective traits themselves. If carriers could be identified before they reproduced, Huxley argued, then eugenicists would have yet another tool at their disposal with which to stop degenerate germ plasm from infiltrating future generations (Huxley, 1933: 325).

Transhumanism And The Future Of Humanity: 7 Ways The World Will Change By 2030

The coming years will usher in a number of body augmentation capabilities that will enable humans to be smarter, stronger, and more capable than we are today.

Wearables will be one form of body augmentation, but they will far surpass the fitness trackers of today. In the future, we can expect the arrival of contact lenses that can take pictures or video, universal language translator earbuds that allow us to communicate anywhere in the world, and exosuits that increase physical strength.

We will also see increased use of implants ranging from brain microchips and neural lace to mind-controlled prosthesis and subdermal RFID chips that allow users to unlock doors or computer passwords with the wave of a hand.

However, the most powerful body augmentation will come from biological augmentation as a result of increased insight into our genomes, advances in IVF technology that may allow us to select the most intelligent embryos, and powerful CRISPR gene-editing technology which may one day give us the ability to eliminate all heritable diseases.

These body augmentation capabilities will give rise to humans that are more resilient, optimized and continually monitored.
